Home Inspection FAQ

What Is A Home Inspection?

It is a thorough visual inspection of a property. A Home Inspector is trained to be a detective in regards to the major systems and construction of your home.

How Long Will The Home Inspection Take?

Depending on the size of your home, a typical inspection takes around 3 hours.

What If The Report Reveals A Problem?

If the inspector finds fault in a home it doesn’t necessarily mean you shouldn’t buy it, only that you will know in advance what type of repairs may be needed. A seller may be willing to renegotiate the purchase price because of significant problems discovered in a home inspection.

What do you inspect exactly?

A typical home inspection includes the following:

  • Exterior
  • Roof
  • Structure
  • Heating
  • Air conditioning
  • Insulation
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Interior
  • Appliance testing
  • Thermal imaging
  • And much more

What Can I Expect?

You will receive a fully detailed report of the home, averaging around 40 pages. Including photographs to pin-point problems or identify potential future problems.
All of our inspections include the use of Infrared Thermal Imaging at no extra cost.
